Here's a quick little octopus I made while at my mom's house. When I started crocheting, it seemed like every other amigurumi pattern I found was an octopus, and I've been wanting to make one for a while. This week I missed my crochet stuff, but my hubby had accidentally grabbed a bag with some purple yarn when he loaded up the car, so I bought a crochet hook at Wal-Mart today and found myself an octopus pattern. There is, of course, no place in Deming that sells safety eyes, so I went with buttons. Still, I think it's cute.
